At the Beginning of 2026, a Section for Uncoupling Repairs of Freight Wagons Operated by RemTerminal LLC Began Operations at the Novosibirsk SEZ

At the start of this year, a section for current uncoupling repairs of freight wagons operated by RemTerminal LLC, one of the first residents of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Novosibirsk," was officially opened. The new facility ensures the supply of serviceable rolling stock both for the needs of the Sibirsky Transport and Logistics Centre (NTT LLC), also a resident of the SEZ, and for third-party organisations.

Since the section's launch on February 24, 2026, production output has increased fourfold, from 65 to 262 wagons per month. At the same time, the turnaround time for a defective wagon — from defect detection to return to service — has been reduced fivefold, from 25 days to just 5 days. This has significantly reduced the load on external railway infrastructure, lowered costs for container terminal clients, and improved the overall efficiency of transport services within the SEZ.

Thanks to steady growth in repair volumes during the first three months of operation, the number of jobs at the section has doubled, from 8 to 17. Following operations in June–July of this year, an additional 7 new jobs will be created, bringing the cumulative total since the section's establishment to 24 positions. Special attention has been paid to supporting regional manufacturers: more than 90% of the equipment, devices, and tools used in the construction and outfitting of the section were purchased from enterprises in the Novosibirsk region.

The company is consistently implementing its development strategy. The next step will be the construction and launch of its own wheel and roller shop. Successful implementation of this project will require significant investment — no less than 200 million rubles.
